Commissaries offer gift vouchers in time for holidays Published Oct. 30, 2009 By Office of Communication FORT LEE, Va. -- The Defense Commissary Agency is offering gift vouchers at all of its 255 commissaries. These vouchers are available in $25 denominations. Anyone may acquire gift vouchers; however, only commissary authorized patrons may redeem them. Vouchers will be available at commissary customer service areas, cash offices and from cashiers at full-service checkout lanes. No additional fees will be added to the cost of purchasing or redeeming the voucher. These sequentially serialized paper gift vouchers, which can be redeemed at any commissary, cannot be exchanged for cash. DeCA is not responsible for lost, stolen, destroyed or mutilated vouchers, and its commissaries have the right to refuse any voucher that appears to be altered, copied, or the serial number is unreadable or missing. - DeCA- About DeCA: The Defense Commissary Agency operates a worldwide chain of commissaries providing groceries to military personnel, retirees and their families in a safe and secure shopping environment.
