MEDIA RELEASE: Holiday Rhythm N' Brass Ensemble visits Spokane

FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. --  The Holiday Rhythm N' Brass Ensemble, part of the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, will be visiting Spokane Dec. 14 and 15 to spread holiday cheer by playing Christmas carols around base and in the Spokane community.

Dec. 14, the ensemble will be playing the following venues in the community:
9:30 a.m. - Spokane VA Medical Center
10:45 a.m. - Spokane City Hall
1 p.m. - Shriners Hospital for Children
Dec. 15, the ensemble will play on base, including a show at Michael Anderson Elementary at 11:15 a.m.

The Air Force Band of the Golden West is headquartered at Travis Air Force Base, Calif. The group is the Air Force's only full-time musical unit west of the Rocky Mountains. Their mission is to support the Air Force's global mission in war and peace by fostering our national heritage and by providing professional military products and services for official military, recruiting and community relations events throughout California, Oregon and Washington.
