141st ANG teams with others as part of Homeland Response Force
Washington National Guard Army and Air members participated in a Homeland Response Force evaluation in August, in Spokane. The Washington HRF team became only the second in the nation certified to respond to large-scale Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear or high-yield Explosive attacks. The evaluation simulated a hostile chemical attack on civilians and required the military to deploy a decontamination and medical triage unit within a 90-minute window.
