Her skills as a new controller have led her to flawlessly perform command and control actions during recent local exercises testing the wing's strategic alert operations. As a junior controller, Briseno recently performed at a senior level by coordinating the delay of an Operation NOBLE EAGLE mission in support of homeland defense. She was on point as she coordinated all communication and planning to ensure the mission was a success. She is stand-out in the community, volunteering countless hours to the Big Sister program as a mentor to a disadvantaged youth. She also makes time to serve food to the homeless at a local church.
