Tops in Blue offer free performance Published Oct. 29, 2012 By Airman 1st Class Ryan Zeski 92nd Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- The Air Force premiere entertainment group, "Tops in Blue," is slated to perform a free show Tuesday, Nov. 6, at 7 p.m. at the Northern Quest Casino and Resort. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. "Tops in Blue," visits Fairchild nearly once a year, with a new theme and show each time. This year, the 2012 World Tour is entitled "Listen!" Inviting the audience "to listen to the music of life through the sounds we hear every day." "'Tops in Blue' allows the Air Force to promote goodwill within the community through entertainment," said Sueann Herkel, 92nd Force Support Squadron marketing director. Made up of 31 active duty vocalists, dancers and musicians, they perform an average of 150 times a year, stopping at more than 100 locations around the world. Performing in the Air Force for the past 57 years, they serve as an expeditionary entertainment unit to provide quality entertainment for the Air Force family.
