What do you do on a daily basis at Fairchild AFB? My main duty is to insure that members deploying from FAFB are medically ready to deploy and to insure that all returning personnel are medically taken care of when they return home.

What do you enjoy your job? As public health we are one of last faces deploying personnel see and one of the first when returning home. It is rewarding to see how the work that I perform relates to the AF mission.

Why did you choose to serve in the military? I could not see how doing anything else at the time would benefit my country or me more than joining the Air Force.

Family: My wife, Caitlin Knieper Voebel

Time in military: I will be three years on April 26.

Greatest accomplishment: Convincing my wife to marry me.

Goals you want to achieve or meet while at Fairchild AFB: To leave with my Fairchild Family feeling that I made a difference in their lives.

Hobbies: Golf

Your best habit: I hate to put off any work for the next day.

Who is your favorite mentor and what did you learn from him/her: My Father is my favorite mentor and he taught me that the right amount of effort can make almost anything happen.

If you could spend one hour with any person, who would it be and why: I would like to spend an hour with Abraham Lincoln, because I feel like he would have profound things to say.
