Duty title: Electrical and environmental systems apprentice.

What do you do on a daily basis at Fairchild Air Force Base? I'm learning to troubleshoot aircraft systems. With several shops working together, we make sure that the aircraft are flying safely and efficiently.

What do you enjoy about your job? I didn't pick my job, but I like how it involves a lot of problem-solving. It keeps things interesting.

Why did you choose to serve in the military? I wanted to challenge myself in a way that I haven't tried before.

What goals do you want to achieve or meet while at the Fairchild Air Force Base? I want to get in better shape.

What is your favorite quote? Anything Theodore Roosevelt said.

Who is your favorite mentor and what did you learn from him/her? Years ago, an officer told me to learn to follow before I learn to lead. It taught me that good leadership and good followership have a lot of the same attributes.

If you could spend one hour with any person, who would it be and why? I want to spend it with my grandfather because he had a lot of cool experiences and a lot of good advice.
