What do you do on a daily basis at March Air Reserve Base? Here at March Air Reserve Base, I spend my days ensuring that maintenance is done in a safe manner while providing expert technical advice.

What do you enjoy about your job? I enjoy making sure that our aircraft are safe to fly while meeting the mission. I also enjoy being able to provide training and put my knowledge to good use.

Why did you choose to serve in the military? I choose to serve in the military because all my family members that I looked up too had some ties to the military, I was headed in a not so great direction in my life and believed the military would be the right move, and it was.

What goals do you want to achieve or meet while at the March Air Reserve Base? I want to be the best mentor possible to my troops and do my job to the best of my ability.

Who is your favorite mentor and what did you learn from him/her? I have had many mentors in my life; all of my family have and still are my mentors. I have learned hard work, determination and not to give up from every one of them.

If you could spend one hour with any person, who would it be and why? If I had one hour to spend with any person I would choose my grandmother Fern Rubinstein. There were many extraordinary things that I did not learn about my grandmother until after she had already passed. She was a woman before her time and I have long looked up to her and aspired to be like her and I would like to hear her experiences first hand from her.
