Duty title: Travel Pay Technician

What do you do on a daily basis at Fairchild Air Force Base? I manage the Government Travel Card program to ensure that member's cards do not go into a delinquency status. I also review PCS and TDY vouchers and work with customers to ensure all entitlements are current and pay statuses are accurate.

Why do you enjoy about your job? My job is unique because I have the potential to work directly with every military member and civilian employee on base. It's gratifying to help a wingman when they come in with an issue.

What goals do you want to achieve or meet while at the Fairchild Air Force Base? I want to make rank every time I test.

What is your favorite quote? "By any means necessary"--Malcolm X

Who is your favorite mentor and what did you learn from him/her? Staff Sgt. Bowie because he was very knowledgeable in the finance department and always gave a maximum effort. He also epitomized the wingman concept; always willing to help a fellow Airman.

If you could spend one hour with any person, who would it be and why? I want to spend one hour with Jackie Robinson because he revolutionized the sporting world that we know today. He was a sheer professional, former military troop and an American Hero.
