Mobility Guardian is now underway. Read below for a few FAQs about Mobility Guardian 2019 at Fairchild Air Force Base.

Q: What is Mobility Guardian 2019?

A: Mobility guardian is a large-scale mobility exercise. This event provides a realistic training environment for more than 2,500 Airmen, joint and international partners to hone their skills and keep a competitive edge in current and future conflicts.

Q: What dates are Mobility Guardian 2019?

A: Mobility Guardian is a three-week long exercise from Sept. 8-28.

Q: Who will be impacted by Mobility Guardian 2019?

A: People on base, around the base, and even the community surrounding the base may notice the difference that Mobility Guardian will show.

There will be several different aircraft in the air throughout the exercise, to include aircraft from our international allies who have traveled here to take part in the event.

There will be an increase in traffic around base, several hotels will be booked, and many more people may be out in the restaurants and locations throughout Spokane County. When you do notice people who may belong to the exercise participants, please welcome them show them how great the Inland Northwest is.

Q: How will traffic on/around base be mitigated?

A: To help mitigate the influx of people commuting to Fairchild AFB, Graham gate will be open 24/7 (for the duration of the exercise) for Mobility Guardian participants, whom are identified with a special badge. Only personnel with the special badge may use Graham gate for entry and exit.

All other personnel or visitors will still enter through the main gate or Thorpe & Rambo gate.

Q: Where can I look for food?

A: During Mobility Guardian there will be food trucks available near main exercise activities.

The Dining Facility is still operational as usual (see AF Connect App for hours), and the Skybox Café is open through the duration of the exercise.

Q: How will I know to salute international military members or not?

A: A compiled list of all the international ranks (of those who are present for the exercise) are available on the AF Connect App! Once downloaded, simply make 92nd ARW a favorite and click the Mobility Guardian section to see the international rank equivalents chart.
