22nd ATF participates in Silver Flag

The Man Transportable Robot System Increment II advances towards a simulated hazard during a Silver Flag exercise at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, April 9, 2025. The MTRS II is a remotely operated, medium-sized robotic system that enables Explosive Ordnance Disposal units to detect, confirm, identify and dispose of unexploded explosive ordnance and other hazards from a safe distance. Exercises like this will continue to propel the 22nd ATF to operate effectively under stressful conditions in contested environments, resulting in a diverse force of Airmen prepared to undertake mission requirements.
