Fairchild conducts 9/11 and National POW/MIA retreat ceremonies
Lt. Col. Fred McMurray, U.S. Air Force retired, speaks with Team Fairchild during the National Prisoner of War/Missing in Action Retreat Ceremony, Sept. 15, 2017, at Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington. McMurray shot down, captured and held as a POW while flying a combat mission over North Vietnam and was released the following year during Operation Homecoming in 1973.
