Firefighters from Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash., respond to the Fish Lake Fire near Cheney, Wash., June 17, 2015. Fairchild assisted other area firefighters saving homes and their inhabitants from the 145-acre brush fire that began June 17 and contained by midnight June 18. Fires like these can be started by something as simple as a cigarette or glass bottle, especially during draught conditions like those Washington state is currently experiencing.
