ORI/NORI outbrief

Fairchild Leadership awaits the outcome of the Operational Readiness Inspection and Nuclear Operational Readiness Inspection during the out brief April 9. An ORI is conducted to evaluate and measure the ability of units with a wartime, contingency or force sustainment mission to perform operations plan and assigned tasks. The inspections evaluate the transition from a peacetime posture to a wartime posture and the ability of a unit to meet wartime taskings. In an ORI there are four major graded areas: Initial Response, Employment, Mission Support and Ability-to-Survive and Operate. Overall, the 92nd and 141st Air Refueling Wing both received satisfactory in the ORI and an excellent for Nuclear Operational Readiness Inspection.
