FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. – Fairchild’s medical group entered a new era July 9, with a new squadron commander and new name. Col. Lisa Kuhar accepted command of the 92nd Aerospace Medicine Squadron, formerly called the 92nd Aeromedical Dental Squadron. Colonel Kuhar, a senior flight surgeon with 550 flying hours, has spent much of her Air Force career at Fairchild, and said during her command speech that she is “humbled and honored to be selected to command.” (U.S. Air Force photo/ Senior Airman Chad Watkins)
