Colonel ROBERT LAMORE

Colonel Robert L. LaMore is the Commander, 92d Mission Support Group, Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington. He leads over 1,200 personnel delivering the installation and mission support activities including security forces, civil engineering, force support, contracting, communications, and logistics readiness. Additionally, he is responsible for supporting the 92d Air Refueling Wing’s Air Expeditionary Force contribution through personnel and equipment readiness. Colonel LaMore is a 1997 graduate of Austin Peay State University. He began his career as a crew commander at Air Mobility Command’s Network Operations and Security Center where he was responsible for computer network defense for 12 AF bases and multiple deployed locations worldwide. He also served as the Chief of Maintenance for the Eighth Air Force Air and Space Operations Center and deployed to Iraq during OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM where he was responsible for the security of the vice president of Iraq.  Prior to his current assignment, Colonel LaMore served as the Chief, Cyber Capabilities and Integration Division, Directorate of Communications, AMC. He directed a twenty-one-person staff to plan and implement cyber and communications activities for 11 bases, 13 en route locations, and over 100 remote sites, while leading, directing, and overseeing cyber security and mission assurance activities for mobility air forces weapons platforms to support global operations.
