Colonel DUANE E. RICHARDSON

Colonel Duane E. Richardson is the Commander, 92d Maintenance Group, at Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington. He supports global air refueling commitments by directing maintenance for 67 KC-135 R/T aircraft and associated support equipment. He ensures the Group can rapidly and effectively deploy, employ and redeploy when necessary. 

Colonel Richardson enlisted in the Air Force in August 1989 as an Electronic Warfare Systems Specialist. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, he received his commission through Officer Training School in April 2001. Colonel Richardson is a career aircraft maintenance officer that has served in Air Mobility Command, Air Combat Command, and Air Education and Training Command. He has been a Squadron Commander in four different squadrons and deployed to Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait and Afghanistan.
