Chief Master Sergeant ROBERT D. WYMAN

Chief Master Sergeant Robert D. Wyman is the Command Chief Master Sergeant for the 92d Air Refueling Wing, Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington. He serves as the principal advisor to the Commander on all matters concerning the readiness, organization, training, health, welfare, morale, development and utilization of 4,450 Airmen. The wing encompasses an Operations Group, Maintenance Group, Mission Support Group, Medical Group, Wing Staff Agencies, and 18 squadrons across two installations. The wing delivers global reach airpower and deploys expeditionary forces in support of worldwide combat, contingency, and humanitarian operations through the expert employment of 68 KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft performing refueling, airlift, and aeromedical evacuation missions supporting US and coalition contingency operations, and USSTRATCOM strategic deterrence no-fail missions. As the installation Command Chief, he empowers the full spectrum of operations, activities, and mission functions across Fairchild Air Force Base while championing support for 18 Team Fairchild associate units totaling over 11,800 total force and joint personnel.
 
Chief Wyman entered the Air Force in May 2002 and graduated from C-17A Loadmaster technical training at Altus AFB, Oklahoma, in March 2003. He has held a variety of leadership roles at squadron, group, wing, MAJCOM, and Air Staff levels. His assignments include bases in South Carolina, Hawaii, Hungary, South Dakota, Washington, Germany, Delaware and Virginia. Throughout his career, he has deployed numerous times in support of operations across USCENTCOM, USEUCOM, USAFRICOM and USINDOPACOM AORs. Prior to his current position, Chief Wyman served as Chief of Total Force Enlisted Developmental Education, Headquarters United States Air Force, Pentagon, VA.
