Colonel Matthew Bryce Dibble

Colonel Matthew Bryce Dibble is the Deputy Commander, 92d Air Refueling Wing Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington. The wing provides global reach airpower and deploys expeditionary forces in support of worldwide combat, contingency, and humanitarian requirements. The wing also operates 67 KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft performing refueling, airlift and aeromedical evacuation missions supporting U.S. and coalition contingency operations as well as U.S Strategic Command’s strategic deterrence missions. As Deputy Commander, Colonel Dibble assists the Wing Commander in leading activities and assigned functions of Fairchild Air Force Base and support for 18 associate units. Prior to this assignment, he served as Deputy Chief, Nuclear Inspections Division Air Mobility Command (AMC) Headquarters, Scott Air Force Base Illinois and Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington.


Colonel Dibble began his Air Force career by attending basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas in March of 1993.  Upon completion of basic training, he was assigned to Charleston Air Force Base, SC where he stayed until 2002 as a Utilities Systems Journeyman.   Colonel Dibble received his commission as a graduate of Charleston Southern University, Detachment 772, in May 2002.  He earned a Master of Business Administration from Touro University International in 2009, a Master of Military Operational Art and Science from the Air University in 2016 and a Postgraduate Certificate from the Royal College of Defence Studies, King’s College London.

 
Colonel Dibble has served in a variety of operational assignments throughout his career.  He has served as the Chief, Airlift Coordination Center (ALCC) and US Deputy Senior National Representative (SNR), North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Allied Air Command Deployable Air Command and Control Center (DACCC), Poggio Renatico, Italy; Deputy Commander, 92d Operations Group; Commander, 384th Air Refueling Squadron; Assistant Director of Operations, 92nd Air Refueling Squadron; Chief, Mobility, Bomber, Attaché Colonel Assignments, Air Force Colonel Management Office, Pentagon, Washington D.C.; Executive Officer to the Chief, Office of the Defense Representative-Pakistan; Chief Executive Officer, 92d Air Refueling Wing; Group Executive Officer, Director of Staff, 62d Airlift Wing, Joint Base Lewis-McChord; Squadron Executive Officer, Chief Scheduler, Chief of Long Range Mission Planning and Assistant Flight Commander, 436 Airlift Wing.


Colonel Dibble is a command pilot, having logged more than 4,600 hours with over in the C-5A/B/AMP Galaxy, C-17A Globemaster, KC-135R/T Stratotanker, T-1A Jayhawk, and T-37B Tweet. Colonel Dibble is married to the former Candie Mynatt with his four daughters Kelsey, Madelyn, Sophia, and Ava.
