Colonel JEFFREY M. MARSHALL

Colonel Jeffrey M. Marshall serves as the Vice Commander, 92d Air Refueling Wing, Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington. The wing provides global reach airpower and deploys expeditionary forces in support of worldwide combat, contingency, and humanitarian requirements. The wing also operates 63 KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft performing refueling, airlift, and aeromedical evacuation missions supporting U.S. and coalition contingency operations as well as U.S. Strategic Command’s strategic deterrence missions. As Vice Commander, Colonel Marshall assists the Wing Commander in leading activities and assigned functions of Fairchild Air Force Base and support for 18 associate units. Prior to this assignment, he served as Chief, Mobility Air Forces Division, Training and Readiness Directorate, Headquarters Air Force.

Colonel Marshall was commissioned in 2000 as a graduate of Baylor University. He completed a Master of Science Degree in International Relations and National Security from Troy University in March 2008, a Master of Arts Degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the College of Naval Command and Staff in 2012, and a Master of Strategic Studies from Air War College in 2019. He is also a graduate of the Maritime Advanced Warfighting School, the U.S. Navy’s advanced studies group.

Colonel Marshall has nearly 3,000 hours in the KC-135R, C-17A, T-1, T-37, and T-6 aircraft. He has deployed in support of twelve named operations, including twice in support of Operations ENDURING and IRAQI FREEDOM.
