7/19/2012 - FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- In a tradition nearly as old as military aviation itself, Col. Paul Guemmer, 92nd Air Refueling Wing commander, completed his final flight here on July 17.
The colonel's last flight at Fairchild follows a tradition in which aircrew members, upon completion of their final flight with the wing, or "fini flight," are met and hosed down with water by their unit comrades, family and friends.
