Fairchild Airmen participate in exercise Bamboo Eagle 24-1

U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Cassandra Bucklin, a crew chief assigned to the 92nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, speaks into an Army Navy/Portable Radio Communication system during exercise Bamboo Eagle 24-1 in Victorville, California, Feb. 1, 2024. The U.S. Air Force Warfare Center hosted the first iteration of Bamboo Eagle, which ensures total readiness through combat representatives training across multiple domains and adds elements of Agile Combat Employment. Approximately 3,000 U.S. service members across four branches and close to 300 combined allies from the Royal Air Force and Royal Australian Air Force participated, improving interoperability that reflects coalition forces in a future fight. The large-scale exercise also synchronized with the Air Force Force Generation model and served as a certification event to ensure force capabilities are optimally mission ready when tasked to support Combatant Commanders.
