Think Green: Commuting for the Gold

Team Fairchild garnered the Commute Trip Reduction Gold Achievement Award for its commitment to upholding the Commute Trip Reduction law during 2019 during the annual Commute Smart award ceremony in Spokane, Washington, Feb. 6, 2020. The CTR law was first implemented by the Washington State Department of Transportation in 1991 to engage local communities and employers in efforts to improve traffic congestion, air pollution and fuel consumption.
