Hometown Heroes
Staff Sgt. Marc Villano, 92nd Medical Operations Squadron, and his dog Trever were given the 2011 Animal Rescue Heroes Award Nov. 10. Villano was given this award for his actions in Afghanistan. Villano found a 3-week-old puppy when he and his team were involved in a typical mission in the local community. Trever helped comfort soldiers in Aghanistan. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt.
