THANK YOU TEAM FAIRCHILD Published Aug. 24, 2009 By Maj.Breck Woodard 92nd Logistics Readiness Squadron commander FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- Fairchild's base agencies and organizations work together everyday to support our Airmen and keep our tankers flying - last week was no exception. The 92nd Logistics Readiness Squadron lost one of their own and I can't tell you how impressed I was at everyone who came out. It was a true team effort and both the family and the squadron felt the outpouring of love and support. I will personally get around and thank those that truly made this tragic event easier to handle, but I know there were many behind the scenes who so graciously gave from the heart. One group that I'll never know specific names for is the Wing's Key Spouses. Coordinating their efforts and also generously donating food was the Airmen and Family Readiness Center. Your efforts were truly selfless and greatly appreciated. Thank you Team Fairchild for taking care of the family of a lost Airman.
