FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- A condemned dormitory, building 623 at the corner of Bong St. and Chennault, crashes to the ground Jan. 23, 2007. Crews are in the process of tearing down this building and bldg. 622, as they don't meet Air Force standards. Between now and the scheduled completion in March, the contracting company will oversee teardown, underground piping excavation, ground tilling and sculpting for proper drainage, and ground seeding.
