FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- Twenty Airmen became part of Fairchild's Honor Guard during a graduation ceremony here May 15.

The new Honor Guard members performed a mock active duty funeral as part of the graduation ceremony. The Airmen practice techniques for 12 days before performing at a public ceremony.

Fairchild's Honor Guard performs military honors for various events and ceremonies in parts of Washington, Idaho and Oregon.

To request the Fairchild Honor Guard for military-related events such as: funerals, weddings or ceremonies, please fill out a DD Form 2536 - Non-Aviation Support and fax it to the Honor Guard at (509) 247-5550. For questions or concerns, please contact the Honor Guard at (509) 247-4713.
