Fairchild Airman receives Spirit of Service award
FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. --
Airman 1st Class Ariana Cunningham, 92nd Medical Group dental assistant, received the Spirit of Service award from the American Legion for volunteering more than 300 hours in her community.
The American Legion is the nation's largest organization of wartime veterans. Each year they hold a convention and award one military member from each branch of service the Spirit of Service award.
The SOS award is given by the American Legion and is awarded to enlisted personnel below the pay grade of E-6 who not only excel in their daily duty performance, but also, devote time to serve their communities.
