Multi-service color guard marching

Multi-service color guard marches away following the kickoff of the commemoration ceremony for the 70th anniversary to the end of World War II Aug. 15, 2015, at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake, Wash. Color guards present the national flag and other flags appropriate to its position in the chain of command. In addition to the flag bearers, who are positioned in the center of the color guard, there are two or more individuals who carry rifles and or sabers in a typical formation.
