LIFT Speaking Theme:

"You've got 7 seconds, make them count"

People whom we meet make quick decisions about us. When it comes to the online world, however, it appears they are even quicker with their snap judgments and come to a conclusion about someone’s capabilities in just a blink of an eye. The good news is that this process is entirely under your control. You can make your first impression - online and offline - what you want, and you can control how others possibly perceive you. During this presentation, Sylvie will reveal the components of your professional “imprint,” and you’ll learn about the conscious and unconscious footprint you leave on the Internet every single day.

As a professional keynote speaker, corporate trainer and image consultant, Sylvie Di Giusto uses her multi-cultural background to work with leaders from around the world who place great importance on themselves and their reputation. With 20 years of corporate experience, a cutting-edge approach combined with a competitive mindset, and a passion for visualization she helps professionals and corporations explore how people make up their minds about them, their leadership potential or their company.

Throughout Giusto’s career, she has senior positions, mainly within human resources, for organizations ranging from 10 to 100,000 employees. She worked with every strata of management from CEOs to young executives, which made her familiar with the typical challenges that professionals and companies face in their workplace. Having spent all those years observing and influencing people’s career paths, she learned it’s better to craft the way others are going to perceive you, rather than to sit back and hope it’s going to be in a great way.

When Giusto is not working, she volunteers her time for the National Speakers Association where some of the top keynote speakers learn, share and network. When she is not volunteering, Giusto spends time with her family exploring the extraordinary country of the United States.

“I have a multi-cultural background: Austrian by birth, French in my heart, Italian in my kitchen, German in my work ethic and American by choice. I speak, I consult, I write and most important…I package people. Yes. That’s what I do.
